Common Name: Canadian Maple.
This is truly a beautiful tree, 'Autumn Red' is a form of Canadian Maple and is regarded as one of the best. It is a medium sized deciduous tree with a classic Maple shaped leaf which is green in spring and summer and changes to a brilliant red for autumn.
It has a neat, upright habit making it a great specimen for small gardens, avenue plantings, street trees, and fantastic for group plantings in the large landscape.
'Autumn Red' will grow in full sun or part shade and prefers well drained, fertile soil.
