Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood'

A gorgeous puple-leaved palmatum which makes a wonderful specimen in any garden as a shrub or small tree. Producing small purple flowers in spring which are followed by red fruits. It's wonderful wine-red foliage holds it's colour throughout summer which then turns a vibrant crimson-red in autumn before falling.
Prefers full-sun or part-shade in less draining rich soils.
