Common Name: Autumn Blaze Maple
'Jeffersred' is a form of Canadian Maple. It is a medium sized deciduous tree with a classic Maple shaped leaf which is green in spring and summer and changes to a brilliant red for autumn.
It has a neat, upright habit making it a great specimen for small gardens, avenue plantings, street trees, and fantastic for group plantings in the large landscape. 'Jeffersred' will grow in full sun or part shade and prefers well drained, fertile soil.
For best results it is suggested to mulch well in spring, fertilize when foliage first appears and supply summer water.
