Betula pendula 'Moss White'

This is a great form of Birch. 'Moss White' has been selected for its upright habit, symmetrical branching and, as the name suggests, beautiful white trunk. It is grafted onto straight Silver Birch which gives the plant a very sound root system. 'Moss White' also has the classic green birch leaf which turns yellow for autumn and will eventually reach heights of 8-10mts x 3-5mts wide.
As a specimen tree, avenue planting or group planting, this form of birch is fantastic.
It likes full sun, well drained fertile soil and mulch to retain summer moisture. 'Moss White Birch' is hardy to frost.
