Callistemon citrinus 'Endeavour'

This hardy, adaptable ornamental native shrub produces masses of red flower spikes during spring and then again in autumn. It grows to 2-4mts tall and the same wide. The flowers attract nectar feeding birds. 'Endeavour' is an ideal screening/hedging plant or can be used as a great specimen in the garden that will withstand the poorest of soils taking water logging, dry periods light frost and moderate coastal exposure.
It grows best in well drained, moist soil and full sun for optimum flowering. For best results remove all the spent flower buds and feed with a long term 'All purpose' fertilizer. This will help to keep the plant full and bushy and help to set up the next wave of flowers.
