Cercis silaquastrum 'Showgirl' PBR

The 'Showgirl' is an outstanding new variety, unique for its tight upright growth habit. Masses of small, purple-pink, pea like flowers form in clusters on the bare branches in spring. Smooth dark green, heart shaped leaves follow, along with ornamental seed pods. Beautiful single feature tree. Ideal for screening, driveway plantings.
Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
