Common Name: Purple Hop Bush
Purple Hop Bush is a hardy evergreen medium shrub with attractive, copper purple foliage. It makes a good hedging/screening plant for tough sites and is a very quick grower.
It thrives in a sunny position and will take part shade. It likes well drained, fertile soil but will tolerate most soil types coping with drought, frost, coastal conditions and wind. It responds well to regular light pruning; ensuring not to prune past the foliage onto the old wood.
