Elaeocarpus reticulatus

Common Name: Blueberry Ash
'Blueberry Ash' is a hardy small evergreen tree or large shrub. It has dark green, leathery foliage which creates a great backdrop for the stunning little white to pink, cup shaped flowers that hang along branchlets. The flower has a fringed edge giving them the dainty appearance of small hanging skirts. This is followed by attractive bright blue fruits which stay on the plant for a considerable time giving the 'Blueberry Ash' its name and interest all year round.
Ideal for hedge or screen, bird attracting and can be used as a great specimen.
Full sun or part shade with fertile, well drained, moist soil will make 'Blueberry Ash' excel; however, they will take most soil types and tolerate light frost once established.
