Jacaranda mimosifolia

Common Name: Jacaranda
Jacaranda is a fast growing, semi evergreen, medium sized tree growing to approximately 10metres tall by 10metres wide.
It has lovely soft, green fern like foliage and stunning large clusters of lilac-blue tubular bell shaped flowers in late spring and summer.
It is mainly used for avenue plantings, street trees or as a specimen tree. It is good for parklands or medium to large landscape for the soft foliage and brilliant summer display of flowers. Jacaranda thrives in full sun but will take part shade.
It prefers well drained, moist fertile soil and it will tolerate frost and dry periods once established.
