Olea europaea 'Ornamental Select Form'

Common Name: Olive Ornamental Select Form
An evergreen tree with attractive silvery grey-green leaves. Masses of cream white flowers appear in spring and are followed by green fruit that riper to red to black during summer and autumn.
Bets grown for its ornamental uses. Can make a lovely screen, feature tree or used in topiary.
An excellent mid-sized table olive. Ideal as a specimen plant or to grow in large pots.
Thrives in a sunny position in well drained soil.
*Note this is not a Kalamata tree originating from Greece. This is a hybridised select form which has been developed and popularised for cooler climates in Australia, for Australia.
