Common Name: Pin Oak
A wonderful moderate to fast growing deciduous tree with glossy unmistakable deep-lobed "Oak" leaves. A very much self-forming medium to large tree which, in Autumn turn a familiar bronze through to reds. The oaks tend to hang onto the previous years foliage until the new Spring growth arrives.
This very hardy Oak is a classic in any park or large garden. Wonderful as a feature tree, large screen or as an Avenue planting.
It performs best in full sun and once established can tolerate low water dry conditions.
