Syringa x hyacinthaflora Blue Hyacinth

Common Name: Blue Hyacinth Lilac
A small to medium deciduous shrub with purple-pink buds that bloom into soft mauve-blue, single flowers in spring. Reaches 2-3 meters in height and 1-2 meters in width, forming an upright, rounded shape. Features green, heart-shaped leaves and fragrant mauve-blue flowers. Best planted in full sun, with pruning recommended after flowering. Water in well and keep the soil moist until the shrub is established. Fertilize at planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary. Annual mulching and fertilizing in autumn, along with summer watering, are advised for optimal growth.
