Trachelospermum jasminoides

Common Name: Star Jasmine
Star Jasmine is an evergreen, woody climber that can grow to approximately 3mts.
The leaves are dark green and oval shape. It has beautiful white, fragrant, star shaped flowers that are about 2cm across and usually form in small clusters during summer.
It is commonly grown as a climber but can also be used as a ground cover.
Star Jasmine prefers rich, well drained soil. Mulch well to keep the roots cool in summer. They like full sun or part shade and can tolerate light frosts and coastal conditions.
It gives excellent coverage on walls and fences near outdoor living spaces as the fragrance is fantastic.
